Project Manager – Jacksonville, FL
Our client is a privately held owner/developer of Healthcare, Higher Education, and Public-Private Partnership projects nationally.  The company has a 20 year track record of success and has a current portfolio of $2.5 billion with an additional $1 billion in the development pipeline.  Due to growth, they are seeking a Project Manager to help implement various development projects throughout the United States.  The position will be based in their Jacksonville office and candidates should possess strong project management capabilities including project design oversight, entitlements, budgeting and construction management.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Manage multiple complex development projects in various stages
  • Provide financial reviews and updates and forecasts for development projects
  • Negotiation and management of design and construction contracts
  • Perform project and site due diligence for new projects and analysis of public incentive   programs
  • Potential oversight of land entitlements and project permitting
  • Full construction management including project billing review, owner representation and project inspections
  • Creation of project draw packages and cash flow forecasting for lenders
  • Administration of project team meetings with architects, engineers and contractors

Qualifications:

  • Strong problem solving abilities and excellent organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, focused and ambitious
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Outlook
  • Professional demeanor, team player, positive attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize, juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines, both as an individual contributor and support team member
  • Strong writing capabilities and polished presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, construction, business or equivalent work experience
  • At least five years of direct real estate development or project management experience
  • Construction or design expertise preferred
  • Approximately 25% to 50% travel required
