Principal Objective of Position

Our client has an immediate career opportunity for an Officer within their Capital Markets Group. The Capital Markets Officer is responsible for capitalizing company-owned and developed projects & acquisitions by managing the funding process for an asset from inception to final disposition. Responsibilities include underwriting and evaluating potential value-add acquisitions.


Other responsibilities include developing and maintaining strong relationships with debt & equity providers, investment bankers; managing investment sales; coordinating targeted marketing of an investment property; interpreting and negotiating business terms of loan, sale, and joint venture documents; actively participating in acquisition pursuit; synthesize an executive summary for an investment offering as well as manage the process of generating high-end investment offerings; work successfully with venture partners to provide analysis and information.


Successful candidates should have at least 5 years of capital markets experience with a proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships within the industry. Candidates will have process management experience with brokers and buyers concerning real estate assets. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and be able to effectively present and explain the strengths and challenges of real estate projects to capital sources. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
