They have a strong existing presence in the South Florida market, are financially rock solid, have a stellar reputation, and possess a pipeline teeming full of existing and future projects. They are currently seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join their team on a high-profile, large-scale multi-family and mixed-use construction project.
General Description
The Assistant Superintendent will assist the Senior Superintendent in overseeing field operations, subcontractor coordination, schedule adherence, and quality control. Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Assist with daily field operations, layout, and coordination of subcontractors and trade partners.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, OSHA standards, and project-specific guidelines.
- Help monitor construction schedules and maintain quality standards across the job site.
- Coordinate material deliveries and inspections as directed by the Superintendent.
- Maintain accurate field logs and documentation.
Education and / or Experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of field supervision experience working for a general contractor or developer.
- Direct experience on multi-family, residential, or mixed-use commercial construction projects.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of construction management software, blueprints, and safety regulations.
